During the COLLECTORS project, personal data will be collected. By using our site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
While using our site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to identify and contact you, such as your name and e-mail address. We may use your personal information to reply to your queries or send you our newsletters.
Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“log data”). We do this to monitor our visitor statistics and to improve the COLLECTORS website. The COLLECTORS consortium recognises the importance of the protection of personal data and takes great care in ensuring the project activities are conducted in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Nonetheless, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
In addition to website visitor information, COLLECTORS will collect personal data from participants in the Regional Working Group (RWG), Focus Group and Interviews. The consortium has drafted strict procedures regarding the data collection, storage, retention, and destruction. Selection of participants will be done via specific procedures, predefined by the project. COLLECTORS will obtain a signed informed consent form from these participants. The anonymized information gathered during the interviews, RWG and Focus Groups will be interpreted and processed for publicly available project reports, and for related scientific publications. It will only be used for the COLLECTORS project, and will not further be used for other purposes, unless participants explicitly agree. The personal contact information will be collected purely for communication and dissemination purposes.
