The newly adopted COLLECTORS project was introduced to the participants of this European conference focusing on the adoption of the European Commission’s Circular Economy Package and its consequences, organised by the European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Laws. The event took place in Berlin, and brought together about 40 representatives of the waste industry, local authorities, ministries of environment, research institutes and NGOs. The discussions focused on several topics, such as selective collection, plastics, bio-waste, deposit-return systems for packaging, or EPR schemes in general.
